How do I book an appointment with Jade?
Select Book with Jade to open Perceny for in-home studio and mobile appointments. Choose your service and available time, then complete the booking steps. For appointments at 3 Traits of Beauty, use the salon’s separate booking process. Get help with a salon appointment.
Is a deposit required?
A $25 nonrefundable deposit is applied toward your selected service. No deposit is required for Brow Service. Review your appointment details before completing your booking.
Does sending a message reserve my appointment?
A message or inquiry alone does not confirm an appointment. Complete the applicable booking steps and check the confirmation details you receive. If your booking status is unclear, contact Jade before making plans around the appointment.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Deposits are nonrefundable. If you need to reschedule, contact Jade at least 24 hours before your appointment. No-shows forfeit their deposits. Call or text (202) 935-6209 to discuss a change.
What if I am running late or miss my appointment?
There is a 30-minute grace window. Please stay in contact if you are running late: text or call (202) 935-6209 so Jade knows your arrival time. No-shows forfeit their deposits.
What if I cannot find a time or the booking link will not open?
Call (202) 935-6209 or email Jade with your preferred date, service, and appointment setting. Availability must be confirmed; sending an inquiry does not reserve a time.

What is the difference between Natural, Soft, and Full Glam?
Natural Glam focuses on fresh skin, subtle definition, and a polished barely-there finish. Soft Glam brings blended neutrals, softly sculpted skin, and refined definition. Full Glam adds statement eyes, fuller coverage, and a more dramatic, photo-ready finish.

Which services can I choose from?
Shades of Jade offers Natural Glam, Soft Glam, Full Glam, Bridal Glam, Eyes Only, Brow Service, and Touch-Up services. See the Services & Pricing page for the published menu, and confirm your final price before booking.
Can I book Jade for bridal makeup?
Yes, Bridal Glam is part of Jade’s service menu. Share your wedding date, location, ready-by time, and the number of people needing makeup so Jade can discuss availability and arrangements with you. Ask about any trial or group-service options you need before booking.
Are lashes included, and how long will my appointment take?
Confirm service inclusions and the time needed directly with Jade before booking, especially if you have a firm event or photography schedule. Share your ready-by time and ask whether lashes, skin preparation, or any requested extras are included in your selected service.

Where is Shades of Jade based?
Jade is based in Washington, DC and serves the DMV, including Maryland and Northern Virginia. Salon, mobile/travel, and private appointment options are available, subject to availability and confirmation.
How do I book a salon appointment?
Jade offers salon appointments at 3 Traits of Beauty. Booking is handled through the salon’s website. For help reaching the correct salon booking page, text or call Jade. The Perceny buttons on this page are for in-home studio and mobile appointments.
Does Jade travel, and is there a travel fee?
Yes. Travel is $25 within Washington, DC and $40 outside DC in the surrounding DMV areas, in addition to your makeup service. Share your appointment location with Jade. Select the applicable travel-fee service in Perceny when available; if it is not listed, contact Jade before completing your mobile booking.
When will I receive directions to the in-home studio?
Book your in-home studio appointment through Perceny. After booking, Jade will contact you by email or text with directions to the studio. Please provide current contact details and check your messages before your appointment.

Can I share inspiration for my look?
Share the look you have in mind when discussing your appointment with Jade. A photo from the Lookbook, your outfit colors, and details about the occasion can help explain your preferences.
How should I prepare, and what if I have product sensitivities?
Please notify Jade of any allergies or product sensitivities before your appointment. Contact her in advance to discuss your needs and ask for preparation instructions for your selected service.
